The Clean

Portland's visionary vinyl re-issue label, Mississippi Records is putting out a slew of amazing and pretty limited stuff, like the The Rats LP (Dead Moon pre-Dead Moon), compilations of 60s/70s gospel, 80s Congolese gospel, etc.We just got this stuff in. On high rotation in my bedroom is a re-issue of the 80s, New Zealand pop band, The Clean. We have their second release 'Compilation' which includes the hits Tally Ho, Anything Can Happen, and Beatnicks (they were top ten in NZ). The videos are rad too. The singer has this cool mid-60s Bob Dylan wardrobe.
