Even more frightening when you consider the following..
Over the weekend I listened to an interview with a former POW that was released from the same prison camp as McCain.. He claimed that various medical studies suggest POW survivors have shorter lifespans than their civilian contemporaries as a result of the mental/physical trauma they endure during their incarceration. He went on to cite the fact that he is two years younger than McCain, spent far less time in the same camp as McCain, and suffers from a variety of debilitating medical conditions...
Echoing the same concerns; the interviewer pointed out that McCain's father (also a veteran) passed away at the age of 70 and his grandfather passed away when he was only 61. John McCain is 72...
..and there is his melanoma:
"To date there is still really no good cure for melanoma, once it's spread. These are the survival curves of patients with melanoma over 15 years...Stage 2 melanoma, which is what McCain had, there is about a 60% chance of survival in 10 years, but it continues to trail off after 15 years....You can have recurrence from a deep melanoma, such as he had, as many as 20 years later." -Dr. Noah Craft
Sarah Palin is being mentored by neocons. Due to the fact that she is unqualified in every arena, guess whose agenda is really a fluttery heartbeat away from the presidency? You guessed it-Bill Kristol and his merry little band of cross bearers
So, it's fun to get all worked up about her but lets not forget that what's more important than fearing Cheney with a tampon is the possibility of an actual GOP win in November and a loss for progressives. It is going to get a lot nastier and frankly all this himming and hawing over Palin is just distracting from how she is actually gonna make her way in to the White House.
