Sammy Harkham: Genius
"Genius" is a word that I've chosen carefully to describe Harkham. I am no professional art critic with intent to hail some new Chagall, although in drawing parallels within the world of comic art, Harkham is the one that comes to my mind. He is certainly a less joyous Chagall, if the parallel makes sense, but not necessarily less lyrical.

buhhhh he is like the ezra pound of comic art - his own work is good - but his taste is what really makes things work
Cause you know...Chagall's Jewish. You know a Jew who does art. So they're kind of the same.
