The Templetons
The benevolent Ed Templeton came round yesterday to drop off even more of his and Deanna's amazing books. So of Ed's we not only have Situation Comedy, and The Contagion of Suggestibility, but a brand new, very limited book of photos from his recent skate tour. And Deformer should be out soon too. We have a few copies left of Deanna's last book, Blue Kitten Photos #3, now we have her new PAM book, Your Logo Here. 
It's entirely photos of kids at the beach who've accepted brand logo's airbrushed onto their bodies. It's weird seeing a five-year-old boy in board shorts and a Honda logo across his chest, or a gang of girls in bikinis with Etnies repeated down their thighs. Deanna doesn't seem to have an anti-corporate agenda, and doesn't look to be judging the kids, it's more fascination. Even without any subtext the figures themselves are striking. Also scary, as the kids look so absolutely zombified, especially because they're so stoked and willing.
